I work closely with some fantastic charities, non-profit organisations, small businesses and community groups, all across New Zealand. ​

It's been my privilege to create website and rebranding solutions for clients from Auckland to Dunedin.

I'm into doing anything I can to help your business, organisation or group to tell its story - across multiple platforms - in a way that makes your existing and potential target audiences want to embrace you.
Professionally, I've got a lot going on. Besides Cheeky Upstart... 
  • I work part-time as the anxiety counsellor and people, relationship and marketing manager at the charity Mosaic - Tikai Tangata (I created and manage that website too). Mosaic is a charity that specialises in clinical and peer-led trauma and sexual abuse recovery services for males of all ages
  • With Anxiety Sorted, I provide coaching for people who struggle with social and performance-related anxiety and panic attacks
  • I'm a certified facilitator of SMART Recovery, a science and evidence-based group programme that focuses on recovery from addictions and problematic behaviours
  • In the spring/summer, I have a gardening business I manage called Backyard Bliss.

Prior to Cheeky Upstart

For the last 8 years, I've been working in Wellington's not-for-profit and government sectors, in roles encompassing:
  • Multi-platform marketing and communication management
  • Mental health management, marketing and advocacy
  • New project creation and management
  • People resource management
  • Skilled-volunteer programme creation, recruitment and management
  • Web and graphic design team recruitment and management (I created a team  of 40+ and we built over 30 excellent, free websites for non-profit organisations and community groups with a regional and national presence)
  • Work brokering, career coaching and employment creation
​I also have a background of creative success in private sector marketing, account management and new business development.
